Entry 01
Order before
the snow.
Introduction
We make boards year-round and sell out each season.
Order early to secure your place in the build schedule.
Winter begins long before the snow arrives.
Inside the Kōjō, next season is already taking shape. Cores are being cut. Sidewalls poured. Graphics prepared. Boards pressed, finished and tuned.
We make Offshore boards throughout the year, but only a limited number leave the workshop each season.
And each year, we sell out.
Right now, our build schedule is already committed through to December, with the next available boards being scheduled across December, January and February.
So if an Offshore is part of your plans this season, order early and secure your place in the build schedule.
01 / Made to order
Made to order.
Every Offshore is made to order.
You choose the shape you want to ride. Then the series, graphic and details that make it yours.
From there, we make your board in Niseko.
The core is prepared. Sidewalls are routed and poured. The board is laid up, pressed, trimmed, finished and tuned.
One board at a time.
It is not pulled from a warehouse.
It is made for you.
02 / Limited by the work
Limited by the work.
There is a reason we only make so many.
Every Offshore passes through a long, hands-on process. Some stages can move quickly. Others simply need time.
Urethane needs to cure. Resin needs time under pressure. Edges need finishing. Every board is checked, tuned and prepared before it leaves the Kōjō.
There are only so many boards we can make each year.
The limited numbers are not something we manufacture for effect.
They are a result of the way we manufacture the boards.
03 / Coming to Japan?
Coming to Japan?
A lot of Offshore boards are made for riders travelling to Japan.
Some collect theirs directly from us in Niseko. Others have their board sent to their accommodation, ready for when they arrive.
If that is your plan, order early and tell us your arrival date when you place the order.
We can then schedule your board around your trip and arrange delivery or factory pickup once it is ready.
The earlier we know when you are coming, the easier it is to make sure your board has a place in the build schedule.
Waiting until you see snow in the forecast may be too late.
04 / Shipping worldwide
Shipping worldwide.
You do not need to be coming to Japan to ride an Offshore.
We ship boards worldwide from Niseko.
Once your board is finished and tuned, we pack it carefully and send it directly to you.
Wherever your winter happens, we can build for it here.
Order early enough and we can schedule the build around when you need your board, then send it on its way as soon as it leaves the Kōjō.
05 / Before the snow
Order before the snow.
There is no endless row of finished Offshore boards waiting in boxes.
There is wood, resin, steel, fabric and a small group of people working through the build schedule one board at a time.
That is part of what makes an Offshore special.
It is also why timing matters.
If you want an Offshore this season, order early.
Whether you are collecting from us in Niseko, having your board delivered to your accommodation in Japan, or shipping it somewhere else in the world, the important thing is securing your place in the build schedule before it fills.
