Terms + Conditions.

Offshore Snow Shapes Limited Liability Company (“Offshore Snow Shapes”, “we”, “us”). The customer is the person or organisation purchasing from Offshore Snow Shapes (“you”).

By placing an order with Offshore Snow Shapes, you agree to these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms applying to your purchase are those in effect when your order is confirmed.

Orders

All orders are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Offshore Snow Shapes. Every snowboard is made to order and enters our build schedule once your order is confirmed and paid.

Confirmed prices: The price confirmed at checkout is the price of your order. Subsequent price changes do not apply to confirmed orders.

Pricing errors

We make every effort to ensure prices displayed on the website are correct. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a website, system or typographical error, we may cancel the affected order and refund any payment made. We will contact you if this occurs.

Payment

Payment is by credit card at checkout, processed by Stripe, in full, in a single transaction. Title in the goods does not pass to you until the full amount is paid to Offshore Snow Shapes.

Cancellations and returns: snowboards

Every Offshore snowboard is made to order to the specifications you select, including the shape, size, flex and topsheet or series. Depending on the order, that can also include width, graphic, colours or a printed name.

For that reason, change-of-mind cancellations and returns are not available once production has begun, except where required by applicable law.

If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible with your order number. If production has not begun, we may be able to cancel your order.

Nothing in this section affects your rights in relation to faulty or defective goods, damage on arrival, our warranty, or any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Damage, incorrect goods or missing items on arrival

Inspect your order when it arrives.

If your order has been damaged in transit, is incorrect or anything is missing, contact us at info@offshoresnowshapes.com within 7 days of delivery with photographs and your order number.

Do not ship anything back until we have reviewed the photographs and agreed on the next step. Most claims are resolved on photographs.

Where transit damage, an incorrect item or a missing item is confirmed, we will arrange the appropriate repair, replacement or refund. If the board needs to come back to us, we cover the return shipping.

Manufacturing defects

Every rideable Offshore snowboard is covered against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from delivery or collection.

Manufacturing defects are different from damage caused during shipping or from damage caused while riding.

Shipping: snowboards

Shipping is additional to the item price. Within Japan, snowboard shipping is ¥7,000, with one charge covering boards shipping together to one address. International shipping is calculated at checkout using live FedEx rates. International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes charged by the destination country and payable to the courier on delivery. These are not included in the shipping price.

We do not ship snowboards to PO Boxes. Please provide a valid, deliverable address. We can ship to hotels, lodges and other accommodation in Japan where the booking and delivery details can be verified. Other third-party delivery addresses may require verification by Offshore Snow Shapes. Costs for re-delivery, refused shipments or unclaimed goods are the customer’s responsibility. Any delivery requests must be made before the order ships.

Delivery dates are estimates. Once an order is with the carrier, delays caused by weather, customs and transport conditions can occur. When your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking information where available.

Shipping: softgoods

Softgoods ship by Japan Post within Japan and by FedEx internationally, calculated at checkout. Worldwide delivery is typically 5 to 10 business days. Shipping is additional to the item price.

Returns: softgoods

Except where applicable law provides otherwise, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds on softgoods.

We may offer an exchange or credit note valid for 6 months where: the goods are returned within 14 days of delivery; original tags are attached; proof of purchase is supplied; and the goods have not been worn, washed, used, soiled or damaged.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Sale items may be returned for exchange or credit note only.

Where an exchange or credit note is agreed, Offshore Snow Shapes pays the return shipping. We will arrange or refund the return postage with you when the exchange or credit is agreed — contact us before sending anything back.

If a softgoods item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery. If an item develops a fault, contact us as soon as you become aware of it.

Nothing in this section affects any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Snowboarding involves risk

Snowboarding is an inherently hazardous activity and can result in serious injury.

Offshore snowboards use non-release binding systems. Ride within your ability, use appropriate protective equipment and make sure your bindings and equipment are correctly installed and maintained.

Children should use snowboard equipment with appropriate adult supervision.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.
