A limited collab with iconic Japanese snowboarder, Gaku Nagata.

Many turns ago, we woke early to find a man leaning against the stove top in our factory kitchen. Golden light streamed through the windows, refracting off the fresh snow outside. The man drew deeply on his cigarette, while ash fell gently on the recently cleaned floor. As the kettle worked its way toward a steady boil, he explained to us the connection between neo-punk shamanism and the torsional stability of a snowboard. It didn’t make sense then, it doesn’t make sense now.

The man is Gaku Nagata. A 90s legend with timeless style and effortless flow, his ongoing feedback has proved critical to the development and refinement of the unique feel that defines an Offshore board. He’s not your average cat, and that’s why we love him.

On the edge of a half century and a true servant to our sport, we honour Gaku with this Special Limited Release Cabin Fever. The same specs, just a more mellow camber and slightly softer feel.

Board description: A big-mountain powder gun with the DNA of a freeride board. The Cabin Fever’s long effective edge runs right through to it’s swallowtail allowing smooth drawn-out turns, while it’s narrow waist and protracted tail keeps it poppy and nimble.
